In the case shown by the video and photo below, the slide area shown has been under surveillance since October 2017. The accuracy obtained is ± 1.5 mm.

Very often, at the foot of these risk zones, at the bottom of the valley, people and animals live. Houses, roads and rivers are also threatened.
A landslide can have enormous consequences and cost millions of Euros. So the authorities responsible for anticipating and taking preventive measures are under increasing pressure.
